New acquisition from Malabar International and new contracts from Summit Air of Canada, JetSpares, BAE Systems, SR Technics and AJW Aviation

Malabar International acquires DAE Industries

Malabar International, an aircraft maintenance and ground support equipment manufacturer, acquired DAE Industries. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, DAE is a manufacturer of engine stands and other ground support equipment.


Summit Air of Canada signs JetSpares contract with BAE Systems

Summit Air of Canada signed a two-year JetSpares rate-per-flying-hour spares contract with BAE Systems Regional Aircraft to support its two newly acquired90-seat Avro RJ85 regional jetliners. BAE Systems Regional Aircraft worked closely with Transport Canada Civil Aviation to obtain Canadian Type Certification for both the Avro RJ85 and the bigger RJ100.


SR Technics invests in Armac Systems

SR Technics announced a strategic investment in Arma Cycstmes, an aircraft MRO inventory planning and optimization software and solutions company. This new partnership will enable customers to benefit from a turn-key planning solution that will continuously optimize component inventory asset investment and maximize component availability.


AJW Aviation signs 7-year PBH contract with Privilege Style

Privilege Style, a Spanish airline, awarded AJW Aviation with a seven year power-by-the-hour contract. This contract will cover the supply of spare parts for the airline’s Boeing 767-300s, providing power-by-the-hour support for the private charter operator.
