Ameco Beijing provides aircraft releasing for Singapore Airlines’ A380

This month Ameco Beijing starts providing line maintenance and aircraft releasing services for Singapore Airlines’ A380 aircraft. This aircraft will be used by the carrier on the Beijing-Singapore route, seven flights per week.  Since 2011, Ameco has provided line maintenance and aircraft releasing services for Singapore Airlines’ Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 in Beijing.  Ameco also provides line maintenance to Lufthansa Airlines’ A380 in Beijing. 
Sabena Technics selects Rockwell Collins Venue HD cabin system
Rockwell Collins’ Venue cabin management and high-definition entertainment system was selected by Sabena Technics for installation aboard a Boeing Business Jet.  The updated cabin will feature HD monitors and digital audio throughout the aircraft for watching Blu-Ray Disc movies and other high-resolution content including the real-time flight information from Rockwell Collins airshow 3D moving map.
Gulfstream Appleton adds mid-cabin hangar
Gulfstream Aerospace opened a hangar specifically for mid-cabin aircraft maintenance at its service center in Appleton, Wisconsin. The 25,500 sq. ft. by 2,369 sq. m. building includes new hangar doors, remodeled customer and employee offices and a glass-enclosed conference room.
