Dallas Aeronautical Services and Fireblad Aviation open new facilities and upgrades and expansions from Cribmaster and 328 Support Services

CribMaster expands line of Industrial Vending Solutions with the Express ToolBox

Cribmaster, a company that provides solutions for managing indirect materials, released the Express ToolBox that is powered by Cribmaster’s Web-based software and utilizes an alphanumerical keypad interface and secure storage. The Express ToolBox allows authorized employees to have 24/7 access to their high-use supplies while management can access supply usage, critical inventory levels, and replenishment status on a Web browser. This self-contained system is able to track usage in real time by employee, job, work cell, or any cost center previously selected.

328 Support Services upgrades Dornier 328 avionics system

328 Support Services, the type certificate holder for the D328 Jet and turboprop aircraft, has implemented a major cockpit upgrade program for the aircraft that is expected to be certified by EASA and US FAA by late 2016. The upgrade includes New Primus Elite LCD displays, smart runway and smart landing capabilities and compliance with ADS-B Out requirements. 

 

Dallas Aeronautical Services Brazil to open Bond Facility in São José dos Campos

Dallas Aeronautical Services (DAS) Brazil announced the expansion into a new facility in São José dos Campos, Brazil that will begin operating in the beginning of 2015.

The new facility will be used to serve the business aircraft market in South America and will feature two 11’x9’ paint booths, one to utilized for sanding and the other for painting, and one 9’13’ curing oven and a 16.5’x16.5’ climate controlled modular clean room. The new facility will be 16,300 sq ft and will be located in the Eldorado Centro Commercial e Industrial Business Park.

DAS Brazil is a subsidiary of Dallas Aeronautical Services and is an FAA Part 145 Repair Station that provides support for corporate aircraft operators through the overhaul and repair of composites, structures and assemblies. 

 

Fireblade Aviation opens FBO in Johannesburg

Fireblade Aviation, a South African-based company, opened an FBO at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. The Fireblade Aviation FBO serves domestic aircraft and is anticipated that full approval for the dedicated customs and immigration service will be received by the end of the year.

The facility, $15 million investment, covers 2,500 sq meters and features VIP rooms, designer shower rooms and a private spa offering treatments with organic products sourced from the Kalahari Desert.
