New FAA approvals for Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia and KLM UK Engineering and new MRO service agreements from Vector Aerospace and Oman Air

Vector Aerospace renews engine service agreement with CommutAirl

Vector Aerospace Engine Services Atlantic (ES-A) renewed its engine service agreement with CommutAir. The agreement calls for ES-A to provide CommutAir with engine repair and overhaul support for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW123 series engines from its distributor and designated overhaul facility located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada.  The work performed in Summerside will be augmented by ES-A’s four North American service centers.

Oman Air signs heavy maintenance agreement with JorAMCo

Oman Air signed a new deal with JorAMCo to provide the Omani national carrier with base maintenance services for two Embraer 175 and three Airbus A330 aircraft. The deal continues a collaborative effort between the two companies, with JorAmCo completing similar checks to two additional Oman Air Embraers last year. With a fleet of 30 aircraft and 20 on order, Oman Air operates scheduled regional and international services to destinations throughout the Gulf and Middle East, Africa, the indian sub-continent, Europe and the Far East.


Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia receives FAA Repair Station approval for Gulfstream aircraft

The FAA approved Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia to operate as a repair station for Gulfstream aircraft. With FAA approval, Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia can support its customers in Jeddah and Riyadh with light scheduled maintenance (A checks) on Gulfstream GII, GIII, GIV, and GV aircraft. Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia is a long-standing joint venture company with Saudi Arabian partners. It operates three FBOs in the country.


KLM UK Engineering obtains FAA Approval

KLM UK Engineering is one of the first UK based MRO companies to be certified by the FAA since the US Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration prohibition stopping the FAA issuing any new foreign repair station certifications was lifted this year. KLM UK Engineering Limited is a regional aircraft and narrowbody MRO, wholly owned by AFI KLM E&M.
