MTU Maintenance has extended its contract with Atlasglobal for the maintenance of the Turkish carrier’s V2500 engines powering its fleet of 22 A320 family aircraft.

Under the terms of the contract, MTU will provide the airline with exclusive MRO services for the engine type for the next five years.

The cooperation between MTU and Atlasglobal dates back to 2006 when both parties signed the original V2500 contract for the carrier’s A320 family fleet.

Since then, it has been expanded to include additional engines and services, such as spare engine support and MTUPlus Engine Trend Monitoring.
