MTU signs Embraer lease engines cooperation

MTU Maintenance Lease Services has signed an agreement with Embraer to provide spare lease engines and support services to E-jet operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

MTU Maintenance Lease Services has signed an agreement with Embraer to provide spare lease engines and support services to E-jet operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Under the terms of the contract, the subsidiary of MTU Aero Engines will supply and support the CF34-10E engine type.

“More and more operators are demanding guaranteed spare engine availability to ensure uninterrupted flight operations,” said Martin Friis-Petersen, managing director of MTU Maintenance Lease Services.

“With our continuously growing pool of spare engines and extensive know-how in the lease engine market, we can help them improve their operational reliability and cost competitiveness."
