MTU Wins $50m JetBlue MRO Contract

MTU Maintenance Canada has signed a $50m, six-year contract with US carrier JetBlue Airways covering the repair of V2500 accessories and line replaceable units.

MTU Maintenance Canada has signed a $50m, six-year contract with US carrier JetBlue Airways covering the repair of V2500 accessories and line replaceable units.

The new deal further expands MTU’s relationship with JetBlue, with the MRO providing V2500 maintenance for the low-cost carrier for the past nine years.

The repair work will be carried out at MTU’s accessory repair centre in Richmond, British Columbia, where it is co-located with MTU’s engine shop.
