MTU Wins Aruba Airlines MRO Contract

The maintenance division of German engine maker MTU Aero Engines has signed a 10-year MRO contract with Aruba Airlines to maintain the V2500 engines powering the carrier’s two A320s.

The maintenance division of German engine maker MTU Aero Engines has signed a 10-year MRO contract with Aruba Airlines to maintain the V2500 engines powering the carrier’s two A320s.

Under the rate-per-flight-hour contract, MTU Maintenance will provide engine repairs and overhaul, spare engines and on-site support.

The deal, which is the first between the two companies, also covers engine monitoring, line-replaceable-unit management and consultancy services.
