Airbus has launched two new cabin options for A320 family aircraft: larger overhead stowage bins and a second Space-Flex lavatory and galley module.

The new pivoting luggage bins are to be launched in Q1 on the first of Delta Air Lines’ order of 45 A321 aircraft, and will also be available as a retrofit option.

The OEM has also announced that it is working with interiors supplier Zodiac Aerospace to develop Space-Flex v2, which will provide a larger galley area alongside two lavatories, one for persons with reduced mobility.

The enlarged galley will accommodate eight half-sized trolleys and meal tray capacity for outbound and return trips. The new module is schedule to enter into service in the first half of 2016 and will also be available as a retrofit.
