Norwegian And LHT Expand 737 And 787 MRO Contracts

The Norwegian Group has extended its base maintenance support contract with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) for its 737 fleet as well as expanding its wheels and brakes contract covering its 787s.

The Norwegian Group has extended its base maintenance support contract with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) for its 737 fleet as well as expanding its wheels and brakes contract covering its 787s.

The 737 contract was initially signed in 2012 but has now been expanded to cover all 737s operated by airlines in the Norwegian Group, including Norwegian Air Shuttle, Norwegian Air International, Norwegian Air UK and Norwegian Air Norway.

The 787 agreement, signed in 2013, has also been extended and will see the volume of work doubled.
