PAS To Convert 757s For SF Express

US-based conversion specialist Precision Aircraft Solutions (PAS) is to complete passenger-to-freighter modifications to four 757 aircraft for Chinese cargo firm SF Express.

US-based conversion specialist Precision Aircraft Solutions (PAS) is to complete passenger-to-freighter modifications to four 757 aircraft for Chinese cargo firm SF Express.

The narrowbodies were formerly owned by lessor Aercap and are powered by RB211 engines.

The conversions will be completed over the next 12 months by three MRO companies – Air China Technics and HAECO are to convert one aircraft each, and US-based AeroTurbine will convert the other two 757s.

Currently SF Express operates a 19-strong freighter fleet made up of 737 and 757 aircraft.
