US conversion specialist Precision Aircraft Solutions (PAS) has started the passenger to freighter conversion of a 757-200 aircraft for cargo carrier Asia Pacific Airlines.

US conversion specialist Precision Aircraft Solutions (PAS) has started the passenger to freighter conversion of a 757-200 aircraft for cargo carrier Asia Pacific Airlines.

The modification, which is PAS’ first for Asia Pacific Airlines, is being completed at AeroTurbine’s MRO facility in Goodyear, Arizona and requires the installation of winglets and new engines.

Under the contract, the completed aircraft must qualify for 180-minute ETOPS certification.
