PDQ Airspares To Reduce Carbon Footprint With Biomass Boiler

PDQ has contracted Fair Energy, a UK-based renewable energy solutions provider, to supply and install a biomass wood-chip burning heating system. The installation of the carbon neutral boiler this month will generate and distribute both water and air based heating throughout PDQ’s 45,000ft2 warehouse. The system will utilise by-products from local businesses such as sawmills. PDQ aims to produce 100 per cent green energy by the end of January 2013.
