PEMCO Completes 500th Redelivery At Tampa Facility

PEMCO World Air Services has celebrated its 200th aircraft redelivery for JetBlue Airways and 500th redelivery in total at its facility in Tampa, Florida. Bill Meehan, CEO, PEMCO, described the 200th redelivery in a four-year partnership as “a real accomplishment”. He added that, “Recognising 500 aircraft redeliveries at our Tampa facility underlines our decision to move to a state-of-the-art modern facility where we can continue to grow and develop this company for the future.” Jeff Martin, SVP operations, JetBlue, commented, “We had our first heavy maintenance check with PEMCO on April 25, 2009, and since that time have sent 176 aircraft down for heavy maintenance visits, along with 24 aircraft for work on miscellaneous repairs. We are excited to be here to celebrate our 200th aircraft’s maintenance check with PEMCO and we thank them for their dedication and hard work to keep our aircraft safe.”
