Premier Aviation Wins Republic Airways MRO Contract

Canadian MRO Premier Aviation has signed a two-year agreement with Republic Airways to carry out airframe heavy maintenance services on its fleet of Embraer E-170 and E-175 aircraft.

Canadian MRO Premier Aviation has signed a two-year agreement with Republic Airways to carry out airframe heavy maintenance services on its fleet of Embraer E-170 and E-175 aircraft.

The contract, which takes effect from January 6, 2016 and has an option to be extended, will include 47 E-175 heavy maintenance visits at Premier’s New York facility in the first year, and a partial line of E-170 aircraft that is scheduled for completion between February and June 2016.

Republic Airways, the airline group which owns Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, currently operates a fleet of E-170s, E-175s, and Bombardier Q400s.
