Danish carrier Primera Air has signed a power by the hour (PBH) contract with AJW Aviation for its fleet of eight 737NG aircraft.

Under the terms of the contract, AJW will provide both exclusive and non-exclusive spares stock at Primera’s headquarters in Copenhagen.

AJW said a key factor in the PBH contract is giving Primera access to 737NG spares located across its network which will specifically benefit the airline’s bases in Scandinavia, the Canary Islands and throughout the Mediterranean.

Alexis Dufermont, AJW Aviation’s vice-president of sales for Europe, said the new contract is further evidence of the UK-based firm’s penetration of the European aviation market with a focus on “developing relationship with carriers of all sizes.”
