Aéro Mag Expands Montreal De-Icing Facility

De-icing specialist Aéro Mag has opened a new $10m facility on its existing site at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport.

De-icing specialist Aéro Mag has opened a new $10m facility on its existing site at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport.

Aéro Mag said work at the facility will include recycling ethylene glycol which is used de-icing operations.

The facility aims to improve the airport’s environmental credentials and reduce de-icing charges for airlines.

Airport authority Aéroports de Montréal invested $7.1m to the facility’s construction with Aero Mag contributing $2.9m.
