Rolls-Royce has extended its contract with Austrian component specialist FACC for the supply of composite components for its civil aircraft engines.

The extended deal, which will run up to 2025, includes deliveries of both production and aftermarket parts to the British engine OEM.

FACC has supplied Rolls-Royce since 2000 with engine components including fan case linings, sound-absorbing fairings, nose spinners, and bypass ducts.

Walter Stephan, chairman of FACC, said the new contract consolidates the firm’s position as a Rolls-Royce supplier and “recognises our technological leadership in the sector of high-strength lightweight components for civil aircraft”.
