Rolls-Royce Gets Regulatory Approval For AMC Changes

Rolls-Royce has been granted regulatory approval to make its previously announced changes to three Approved Maintenance Centre (AMC) joint ventures.

Rolls-Royce has been granted regulatory approval to make its previously announced changes to three Approved Maintenance Centre (AMC) joint ventures.

The changes, announced last November, relate to three existing AMC joint ventures: Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL), Singapore Aero Engine Services (SAESL) and N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3).

Under the new model, all three AMCs will now have to compete to secure Trent TotalCare engine overhauls, replacing the previous geographic territory-based arrangement.

The UK engine maker said the new model will encourage greater capability and flexibility across the Trent Service Network.
