Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has sold its technology base at Oslo Airport to Norwegian firm Oslo Pensjonsforsikring for NOK 650m (£59.9m).

The company had exercised an option to buy back the property from Airport Properties AB (APAB) and has taken it on a sale and lease-back contract.

SAS said the sale will lead to a reduction in its annual operating costs.

The Stockholm-headquartered carrier has signed a 15-year leasing agreement with the right to extension.
