Satair has confirmed its new 2,300m² Miami support centre for Airbus proprietary parts will open next Tuesday (April 19).
The facility, which Satair said is four times bigger than its previous site, has been set up to assist customers in the Americas region.
In addition, the facility will also accommodate a dedicated repairs area, a hazardous material centre of excellence and production of aerospace hose products.
John Gattasse, head of Latin American sales and support for Satair Group Americas, said despite the turbulent economic situations in Brazil and Argentina having an effect across Latin America, the firm believes regional growth will resume. “The timing of this major investment means that Satair Group is positioning itself for the future in the Latin American aviation market.
The growing success of airlines in Latin America means there are now major carriers in the region and we continue to work hard to support them,” he said.
