Singapore Airlines subsidiary Scoot has signed a maintenance deal with Rockwell Collins for the avionics on its new fleet of 787s.

Under the contract, Rockwell Collins is to provide spares, repairs and performance monitoring on its equipment on the low-cost carrier’s 20 787s, which are due to begin entering service in November. Equipment covered includes cockpit displays and pilot controls, as well as communications and surveillance systems.

Last week, Scoot confirmed it had opted to sign a maintenance contract with Pratt & Whitney for the APUs on its new 787s and another with UTC for the air management systems and electric power generators, alongside other equipment.
