Six Firms Sign Up To Offer BAe 146 Parts Support

BAE Systems Regional Aircraft has signed long-term agreements with six companies to provide support for components on its BAe 146 and Avro RJ.

The vendors include OEMs: AEM; Eaton Aerospace; Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing; Ultra Electronics Controls; and Honeywell, as well as MRO Oakenhurst Aircraft Services.

Under the deals, the firms will provide repairs and overhauls on nearly 340 different parts between them.

The agreements cover: hydraulic and mechanical components; cabin oxygen cylinders and valves; flap electronic control units; printed circuit boards; and avionics.

BAE said it aims to expand the range of its aircraft parts covered under similar fixed-term agreements.
