Southwest To Move To Mxi Software

The airline hopes to gain efficiencies and reduce complexity, while at the same time ensuring the highest levels of reliability and compliance.

MIAMI—Southwest Airlines has selected Mxi Technologies’ Maintenix software.

The airline hopes to gain efficiencies and reduce complexity, while at the same time ensuring the highest levels of reliability and compliance.

The airline expects the planning and scoping phases of the project to take about five months.

Coinciding with this, Mxi will work collaboratively with Cavok, a division of Oliver Wyman, to support the project.

A Southwest Airlines representative says the operator decided to do this because “the integration of a new technology platform of this caliber requires some significant modification of our internal processes.”
