Spairliners, the AFI KLM E&M and Lufthansa Technik MRO joint venture, has extended its component support contract with Australian carrier Qantas covering 12 A380s aircraft.

The agreement, which will now run until 2025, includes component pooling and repair solutions of all line replaceable units for Qantas’ A380 aircraft fleet.

The updated contract also includes a transportation service to and from Qantas’ main base in Sydney and all other line stations.

“Spairliners is our preferred component provider thanks to the successful partnership and improving high service levels through the time of the existing contract,” said Mike Legrand, procurement engineering CAM manager at Qantas Airways.
