SR Technics has extended its line maintenance capabilities at its station in Geneva to the 787 aircraft.
The Swiss MRO will begin services on the Boeing aircraft from August 1, which will include on-call maintenance, transit checks, daily and weekly checks, cabin inspections and defect rectification.
Geneva becomes the second line station in the SR Technics network to offer 787 services after its Zurich location.
The new capability adds to offerings in Geneva which include line and light maintenance capabilities up to A & P-checks for Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
Jakob Straub, head of line maintenance international at SR Technics, said: “This demonstrates our commitment to offering comprehensive solutions that suit the needs of our customers while steadily investing in trainings to expand our service portfolio with new aircraft types.”
He added that SR Technics, which was acquired earlier this month by China’s HNA Aviation, also recently extended its A380 support network from Zurich to Madrid.
