ST Aerospace to provide AirAsia A320 base maintenance

ST Aerospace (Guangzhou) Aviation Services has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AirAsia for base maintenance services on the carrier’s fleet of 22 A320 aircraft.

ST Aerospace (Guangzhou) Aviation Services has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AirAsia for base maintenance services on the carrier’s fleet of 22 A320 aircraft.

The contract covers work in the second half of this year with plans for further support for AirAsia in 2017.

It also includes line maintenance services in Guangdong, to support the low-cost carrier as it expands its routes in Guangzhou and Guangdong province.

ST Aerospace (Guangzhou) Aviation Services, a joint venture between ST Aerospace and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, offers airframe maintenance and modification services for a range of Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
