Singapore-based ST Aerospace secured new contracts worth a total of $920m in Q2 2015, up from $520m in the same period last year

Singapore-based ST Aerospace secured new contracts worth a total of $920m in Q2 2015, up from $520m in the same period last year.

In the second quarter of the year, the MRO provider signed a seven-year $100m Q400 component support deal with UK-based carrier Flybe, as well as a $350m engine MRO deal with Jet Airways.

Other contracts include: a heavy maintenance agreement coming six A321s with an unnamed airline; landing overhaul and exchange contracts for 737s operated by carriers in the Asia-Pacific region; and the overhaul of six CFM56-7B engines for a low-cost carrier in Southeast Asia.
