ST Aerospace has signed a six-year engine maintenance agreement with Indian carrier Jet Airways worth S$472m ($350m).

Under the terms of the contract, ST Aerospace will provide off-wing engine support and on-wing services for the CFM56-7B engines powering Mumbai-based Jet Airways’ fleet of 76 737NG aircraft at its MRO facilities in Singapore and Xiamen, China.

The new agreement replaces an existing 10-year deal signed by the two parties in 2010 for maintenance of the aircraft's CFM56-7B engine.

Jet Airways CEO Cramer Bell cited the airline’s “long and dependable” relationship with ST Aerospace as a primary factor behind the new contract.
