ST Aerospace Wins S$443m Of Few Contracts In Q1 2016

Singapore-based ST Aerospace said it secured contracts worth S$443m ($326m) in the first quarter of 2016, up from Q1 2015’s S$298m ($219m).

Singapore-based ST Aerospace said it secured contracts worth S$443m ($326m) in the first quarter of 2016, up from Q1 2015’s S$298m ($219m).

In Q1 2016, the MRO provider signed a number of new agreements for line and heavy aircraft maintenance services, as well as cabin interior modifications for commercial airline customers.

For component support, ST Aerospace signed several ATR landing gear contracts with undisclosed customers in the Asia-Pacific region, while also adding a long-term agreement to service a European customer’s Q400 components.

During the quarter, ST Aerospace confirmed it redelivered a total of 524 aircraft for airframe maintenance and modification work, which included an A380 cabin overhaul for a European customer, as well as D-level heavy maintenance checks on Virgin Galactic’s 747-400.
