StandardAero Signs MRO Deal With Southwest, GE Aviation For CFM56-7B

StandardAero has signed a multi-year off-load agreement with GE Aviation to provide CFM56-7b engine MRO services in support of its Southwest Airlines program.

StandardAero has signed a multi-year off-load agreement with GE Aviation to provide CFM56-7b engine MRO services in support of its Southwest Airlines program.

The contract covers services carried out by StandardAero from its facilities in Winnipeg, Canada on the engine type, used to power Southwest’s fleet of 737 aircraft.

StandardAero has been an MRO service provider for GE and CFM engines for more than 10 years, and has previously partnered with the OEM to operate its Winnipeg engine test research and development center.
