US-based MRO StandardAero will provide PW125B engine maintenance and field services support for Belgian carrier VLM Airlines’ fleet of Fokker 50 aircraft.

The three-year contract will see maintenance work performed at StandardAero’s European service centre in Tilburg, Netherlands, its facility in Winnipeg, Canada and at VLM’s Antwerp headquarters.

VLM, a subsidiary of Air France-KLM, last week announced it is set to launch scheduled regional services with the long-range version of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 in 2015.
