Canadian carrier Summit Air has signed a spares contract with BAE Systems Regional Aircraft. In support of two of Summit’s 90-seat Avro RJ85 regional jets, the two-year deal will see BAE manage inventory, logistics and repair of the airline’s rotable components on a cost-per-flight-hour basis. To assist the airline, BAE will position an onsite rotable stock package at Edmonton as part of the JetSpares programme.
