TAT Technologies has agreed to buy aircraft coatings firm Chromalloy Israel for $3.5m.

TAT Technologies has agreed to buy aircraft coatings firm Chromalloy Israel for $3.5m.

The acquisition is expected to be finalised in September and will result in Chromalloy Israel changing its name to Turbochrome.

Chromalloy Israel, located in Kiryat Gat, specialises in the overhaul and coating of aircraft engine components, including turbine vanes and blades, fan blades, variable inlet guide vanes and afterburner flaps.

It supports CFM, GE, Pratt & Whitney and Rolls-Royce engine types.
