Tigerair Signs Up To Airbus FHS Contract

Airbus has signed a 10-year contract with budget carrier Tigerair Singapore to provide flight hour services (FHS) for its fleet of A320 family aircraft.

Airbus has signed a 10-year contract with budget carrier Tigerair Singapore to provide flight hour services (FHS) for its fleet of A320 family aircraft.

The FHS agreement will start in Q1 2016 and gives Tigerair access to Airbus’ pool of spare parts and will see coverage for line replaceable units, component repair, transportation and expendables provisioning.

Ho Yuen Sang, Tigerair chief operating officer, said of the deal: “Airbus’ expertise, high reliability of components and repair service combined with overall cost competitiveness were key factors in our decision.”
