TransDigm Buys Franke Aquarotter For $75m

US component manufacturer TransDigm has purchased German firm Franke Aquarotter for $75m.

US component manufacturer TransDigm has purchased German firm Franke Aquarotter for $75m.

Aquarotter, a subsidiary of the Franke Group, manufactures faucets and hose systems for lavatories installed in A320, A330 and A380 aircraft, as well as regional jets from Bombardier and Embraer.

TransDigm is renaming the company Adams Rite Aerospace and it will work alongside TransDigm’s product line in Fullerton, California.

TransDigm’s latest acquisition follows its purchase of Telair from AAR last week.
