Cabin maintenance specialist Trenchard Aviation has acquired fellow UK-based firm Reheat International, a repairer of on board galley equipment and cabin interior products.

The acquisition of Alton, Hampshire-based Reheat is the third since November 2015 when Trenchard, backed by private equity firm Graphite Capital, bought kitting services firm Aero Technics.

Reheat provides galley and cabin aftermarket services for airlines, along with acting as an authorized repair station for a growing number of OEMs.

Steve Cloran, Trenchard’s chief executive, said: “The acquisition of Reheat brings another market-leading provider into the group which significantly extends our existing capabilities in aircraft seat repair, aviation textiles and security life vest pouches.”

Cloran added that the firm would look to develop its customer base further while looking at more market growth opportunities.
