Triumph Inks BATAM APU Support Contract

Triumph Aviation Services Asia has signed a ten-year agreement with Lion Air subsidiary PT Batam Teknik to provide repair services, tooling, training, auxillary power unit (APU) test cell and certification assistance.

Triumph Aviation Services Asia has signed a ten-year agreement with Lion Air subsidiary PT Batam Teknik to provide repair services, tooling, training, auxillary power unit (APU) test cell and certification assistance.

Under the terms of the contract, Triumph will carry out full APU repair and overhaul during the shop build-up phase as well as APU component and accessories repair services for the remaining duration of the agreement.

Michael Abram, Triumph’s executive vice-president, product support, said the agreement will make the firm “an integral part of the MRO supply chain in Indonesia which serves one of the largest domestic aviation markets in the world.”
