Unison Industries has confirmed the signing of two aftermarket services agreements with Middle Eastern carrier Emirates and French OEM Safran.
The Emirates contract will run until 2025 and covers new components and repairs for its GE90 and GP7200 engine fleets which power the 777 and A380 respectively.
Emirates said it will leverage Unison’s strengths in the areas of exchange programmes, upgrades and repairs. The second contract with Safran is a material repair agreement supporting CFM56 engine maintenance.
Under the terms of the three-year contract, Jacksonville-headquartered Unison will cover ignition and power generation components in support of Safran Aircraft Engines MRO facilities in France, Belgium, Morocco and Mexico.
Unison President Giovanni Spitale said both deals will offer its customers “unparalleled support”.
