UTC And P&W Win Scoot MRO Contracts

Singapore Airline’s low-cost long-haul subsidiary Scoot has signed maintenance agreements with UTC Aerospace Systems and Pratt & Whitney for its forthcoming fleet of 20 787 aircraft, the first of which is due to be delivered in November.

Singapore Airline’s low-cost long-haul subsidiary Scoot has signed maintenance agreements with UTC Aerospace Systems and Pratt & Whitney for its forthcoming fleet of 20 787 aircraft, the first of which is due to be delivered in November.

UTC is set to provide MRO services under its signature CARE programme, which will cover the fleet’s air management systems, electric power generator and start systems, emergency power systems, fire suppression, sensors and lighting systems.

Meanwhile, Pratt & Whitney will provide repair and spare parts support each of the aircraft’s APS5000 APU.
