UTC Aerospace Systems and Revima will cooperate to provide landing gear MRO services on 777-300ER aircraft operated by Emirates.

UTC Aerospace Systems and Revima will cooperate to provide landing gear MRO services on 777-300ER aircraft operated by Emirates.

In a statement, UTC said that while the service agreement with Emirates will remain under the prime responsibility of Revima, a portion of the work will now take place at its Goodrich Customer Services MRO facility in Dubai.

The Goodrich facility will carry out initial services on the landing gear before shipping them to Revima's centre in Caudebec-En-Caux, France for overhaul. UTC said the agreement also gives Emirates access to its global network of repair facilities.

Iain Lachlan, Emirates’ divisional senior vice-president of engineering, said: “This relationship will help ensure that Emirates' fleet of 777-300ER aircraft receives the highest service levels through a local facility based in the UAE.”
