​​​​​​​VAS Aero Services is to buy four A330 aircraft from LATAM Airlines while also committing to 14 spare Pratt & Whitney engines being retired from the South American airline group’s fleet.

VAS Aero Services is to buy four A330 aircraft from LATAM Airlines while also committing to 14 spare Pratt & Whitney engines being retired from the South American airline group’s fleet.

Florida-headquartered VAS confirmed it plans to relocate the aircraft to its European aircraft teardown partner, Tarmac Aerosave, based in Tarbes, France.

The Pratt & Whitney engines are to be redeployed across VAS’s maintenance partner network.
