Weingartner To Leave MTU Maintenance

MTU Aero Engines has today (December 12) confirmed that Stefan Weingartner, president of MTU Maintenance and a member of MTU’s board, is leaving the company and will not be replaced.

MTU Aero Engines has today (December 12) confirmed that Stefan Weingartner, president of MTU Maintenance and a member of MTU’s board, is leaving the company and will not be replaced.

Weingartner will leave on March 31, 2015 after eight years with the company.

  1. MTU Aero Engines has confirmed that following Weingartner’s departure oversight of MTU Maintenance will be transferred to MTU’s other management board members.

Responsibility for MTU Maintenance locations will be passed over to COO Rainer Martens, while sales and marketing will be integrated into the programmes function which is headed by Michael Schreyoegg.

The new management structure will come into effect at the beginning of 2015.
