US and Singapore-based Werner Aero Services has acquired a next generation 737 last operated by Korean low-cost carrier Eastar Airlines for teardown.

US and Singapore-based Werner Aero Services has acquired a next generation 737 last operated by Korean low-cost carrier Eastar Airlines for teardown.

The aircraft is to be disassembled and the components will be used to provide material for the firm’s 737NG support contracts and asset management programmes.

Mike Cazaz, CEO of Werner Aero Services, confirmed that the company planned to continue expanding its “new generation business”.
