Cleveland-based White Stag Aircraft Leasing has signed a commitment to buy seven 737-400s from TLA Holdings.

Cleveland-based White Stag Aircraft Leasing has signed a commitment to buy seven 737-400s from TLA Holdings.

White Stag chairman John Green said four of the aircraft will undergo passenger-to-freighter conversion as soon as deliveries are complete, most likely within 60 to 90 days.

Commenting on the purchase of the mid-1990s vintage 737 classics, Green said: “Current markets are such that much older aircraft continue to be leased to meet over demand for freight contracts worldwide. We foresee this wave to continue uninterrupted well into the future.”
