Wizz Air Extends LTMI Maintenance Contract

Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has extended its contract with Luthansa Technik Maintenance International (LTMI) for line maintenance services at six stations in Romania and Slovakia.

Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has extended its contract with Luthansa Technik Maintenance International (LTMI) for line maintenance services at six stations in Romania and Slovakia.

The new agreement will run for until November 2023 and covers 16 A320-200 aircraft as well as the new A321neo aircraft.

Under the terms of the contract, LTMI will continue to manage Wizz’s line maintenance network and be responsible for the entire fleet stationed in this region.

Diederik Pen, chief operations officer at Wizz Air, said: “They [LTMI] perform consistently at the level that meets our high standards for reliability and quality and they continue to manage the increased work-scope resulting from our growth while maintaining a competitive price.”
