AAR has confirmed the expansion of its hydraulic repair and overhaul facility in Amsterdam.

The plant, operated by the firm’s Aircraft Component Services (ACS) division, has seen upgrades to testing equipment and staff.

AAR also said it has more than doubled the capacity of the facility to accommodate work on an expanded list of parts and systems, including hydraulic pumps; flap, thrust-reverser and landing-gear actuators; and flow control and shutoff valves for Airbus, Boeing, Embraer and Bombardier aircraft types.

Salvatore Cristofori, director of sales and commercial operations, Aircraft Component Services – Amsterdam, said: “This refresh propels ACS – Amsterdam to the leading edge of hydraulic component repair and overhaul for commercial aircraft.”
