Interiors supplier AIM Aviation has opened a new 2,880m2 manufacturing and testing facility at its galleys and stowages site in Byfleet, UK.

The site designs, manufactures and supplies equipment for Airbus and Boeing widebody and narrowbody aircraft.

The purpose-built expansion boosts production space at the site to close to 7,000m2 and will, according to Wayne Ball MD of AIM Aviation’s galleys and stowages business, enable growth and enhancement of its product and service lines.

On September 4, AIM announced that it will be expanding its cabin interiors facility at Bournemouth airport by a further 14,865m2. The new £11m ($18m) facility is due to open next summer.
