Airbus has released its 2016 aircraft list prices which show an increase of 1.1 per cent across its product line.

<p>Airbus has released its 2016 aircraft list prices which show an increase of 1.1 per cent across its product line.<p>Airbus said the rise is in accordance with its standard escalation formula for the year from January 2015 and takes into account the drop in materials and commodities prices.<p>John Leahy, Airbus chief operating officer for customers, said: "Our new 2016 price increase reflects the strong appetite from customers around the globe for Airbus’ comprehensive, modern and innovative product range."<p>In 2015, the Toulouse-based OEM received orders for 1,007 aircraft, bettering rival Boeing's total of 568.</p>
