BOC Aviation Orders CF6 To Power Two A330s

Lessor BOC Aviation has signed a contract with GE Aviation for CF6-80E1 engines to power two new Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Lessor BOC Aviation has signed a contract with GE Aviation for CF6-80E1 engines to power two new Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

The aircraft will be placed on long-term lease with Taiwanese carrier EVA Airways and are expected to be delivered in 2017.

Robert Martin, managing director and CEO of BOC Aviation, said: “Our choice of GE Aviation’s CF6 engines demonstrates our confidence in the reliability and proven strong operational performance of the engine.”
